Hornady Critical Defense 380 ACP Auto Ammo 90 Grain Flex Tip Expanding  AMMO - Since their creation, conventional hollow point bullets have performed well, but have never delivered 100% reliability especially in self-defense situations. This Hornady Critical Defense 380 ACP Auto is loaded with a 90 grain FTX (Flex Tip eXpanding) bullet, which has a soft polymer insert that delivers optimum controlled expansion and large, deep wound cavities over a wide range of velocities. This ammunition was designed by Hornady to expand every single time. All Critical Defense ammo is loaded into nickel cases for increased visibility in low-light situations. Premium low flash propellants deliver proven performance, even in very short-barreled handguns, and will not disrupt your vision. Clean burning and efficient propellants reduce recoil in lightweight handguns and perform consistently in all temperatures. Hornady Critical Defense Ammunition was purpose built for concealed carry guns and designed to deliver reliable and controlled expansion regardless of target every time. Hornady Critical Defense 380 ACP Auto is non-corrosive, new production ammunition in boxer primer and reloadable brass cases.
